Trick or Treat

Last night Lexi "the tiger" met her friends Ella and Colten to go trick or treating. Each door Lexi went to she tried to invite her self into the house - once she got some candy in her bag she would sit it down and check out what was there :)

It is cute that Lexi knows her little friends - she gets excited when she sees them out. When Ella sees Lexi she yells down the street "Hey its me Ella - Hi Lexi! " so cute. Both Ella & Colten are 2 but Lexi fits right in.

Weekend at the Lake

The past few Labor Day weekends we have been to the lake with a group of our good friends. It has been great to slow down from all our crazy schedules and spend time together!




Lexi was not too fond of the Seadoo - of course I am not sure I would enjoy it if I could not see over the bar.


She LOVES swimming.....

update

A quick update of what we have been up to. TRAVEL we went to Hilton Head Island, SC a couple weeks ago for work - great place to have a meeting. It was nice that Alexis and Eddie were able to go with me. We drove which took about 8 and half hours so it wasn't bad plus Eddie drove most of the way. We left Thursday morning 1:30AM Lexi slept the whole way other then when we stopped for breakfast so that was nice on the way back we left at 1:30pm so I had do do alot of singing and entertaining but overall she did really well in the car. We had a great time at the beach Lexi loved the water. I will have more stories on that when I post the pictures. Here are a few pictures I have with my friends Amy & Chrissy.

1. I have not eaten red meat, fish & pork for about 13 years. When I have 15 my sister Melissa and I just decided we were not going to eat those meats any more - Eddie was hoping when I got pregnant I would crave meat (poor guy we mostly eat chicken here)

2. I have worked on an assembly line. In college I worked at MTD where we made lawnmowers - in my position on the line I had to grease the pivot bar and I used a power drill!

3. I have wanted to be a mom since I can remember ( not sure if this is a "random fact") I want four!

4. In high school I was a wrestling cheerleader for 3 years - yes wrestling! Eddie makes fun of me all the time.

5. I would love to go the Great Wall of China with Eddie one day.

6. I was so excited to get my drivers license when I was 16 I went to school late that day to take my test. I failed the test because I was speeding through a school zone ( i didnt realize it was a school zone) I was so upset - I couldnt go back to school without my license so dad and I went to Nashville and I passed that test the same day

7. A new fact - I have to get going my Lexi is now mobile so my blogging time will have to be cut short.

Beautiful

The weather has been wonderful this week! Lexi & I enjoyed the beautiful day Wednesday and walk down to the park to meet some friends. Lexi loved swinging..

That afternoon we made our way to Nana's house to visit with some of her "Craft Club" girls. "Craft Club" so they call it (there are no crafts involved just lunch and/or shopping -well there might have been some crafts being made at the beginning?) they have been meeting for twenty something years, they were friends when they had babies and now their babies are getting married and starting families of their own. Here is Lexi with a fellow
craftie grandbaby Parker.

Also the last few weeks Lexi has started rice cereal, squash and now zuchinni! So far she loves it all - no yucky faces yet :) Actually we are going to start having to feed her more she has been a little piggy this week. I am going to start her eating cereal and or a vegetable for lunch and dinner. She is growing up so fast!
