This was our 1st annual Hollis family weekend. We really enjoyed spending time with the family!!

Summer FUN

This was Lexis' first time at the beach - so sweet seeing her share this with Papi.











We had a great time at the beach! Alexis loved swimming, playing in the sand and bike riding :) We rented a bike to ride around the area - eddie rode with Alexis. He doesnt trust me to have her on my bike (i have had a few falls). Alexis loved riding bikes - well when she was awake! It only took a few minutes and she was out!


Poor baby her head kept falling down -she was so sleepy! So Eddie set her up.

I am catching up on blogging about our summer of fun! In June, Eddie's dad, Rosa, Rosita and Jose flew in from San Antonio, TX and spent a few days in Nashville then we spend the end of the week in McKenzie. We LOVED having them here and look forward to seeing them again soon. Here are some pictures....

update

A quick update of what we have been up to. TRAVEL we went to Hilton Head Island, SC a couple weeks ago for work - great place to have a meeting. It was nice that Alexis and Eddie were able to go with me. We drove which took about 8 and half hours so it wasn't bad plus Eddie drove most of the way. We left Thursday morning 1:30AM Lexi slept the whole way other then when we stopped for breakfast so that was nice on the way back we left at 1:30pm so I had do do alot of singing and entertaining but overall she did really well in the car. We had a great time at the beach Lexi loved the water. I will have more stories on that when I post the pictures. Here are a few pictures I have with my friends Amy & Chrissy.

Fathers Day

Celebrating the love of a daddy or in our case PAPI (that is what Eddie wants to be called). This was Eddie's first Fathers Day. I hope he enjoyed the day and felt appreciated! We went to church, then rushed home to watch sports a soccer game (Mexico was playing) - and the US Open. My dad also came over for lunch.

I just have to brag a little on Eddie as a father! He is WONDERFUL. He is absolutely in love with his little girl. From the beginning he has been involved in every way, he doesnt want my help - he told me he wants to learn to do everything himself in case I am not there to help. I never have to ask for him to change a diaper, give a bath etc he is always willing and wanting to be an active parent. I am in love with Eddie even more seeing his love for our precious Lexi.

I love this picture of Lexi. I have some recent ones I want to post but we are having some major computer issues that we hoped to get fixed this week!

We had a great time this past week, Lexi met her abuelo, Rosa, Rosita & Jose! They came in from San Antonio to spend a week with the family. We showed them around Nashville, Opryland Hotel, had a picnic at the lake, then spent some time in McKenzie. Lexi just loved all the attention.

Update on what Alexis is doing now.... she has one tooth and one making its way through - she is actually handling it really well. She has been crawling for about a month now - as soon as she figured out how to crawl she was climbing stairs and pulling up on anything she could find. She is walking from one end of the couch to the other. She talks all the time da da da and most recently we think she said HOLA :) She loves fruit, I have the cutest picture of her eating a strawberry!
