Last night Lexi "the tiger" met her friends Ella and Colten to go trick or treating. Each door Lexi went to she tried to invite her self into the house - once she got some candy in her bag she would sit it down and check out what was there :)

Ella & Lexi
It is cute that Lexi knows her little friends - she gets excited when she sees them out. When Ella sees Lexi she yells down the street "Hey its me Ella - Hi Lexi! " so cute. Both Ella & Colten are 2 but Lexi fits right in.

Camping
We went camping this past weekend with our small group. There were about 40 of us including children -it was a great group. We had such a good time and awesome weather! This was Alexis' first camping trip - she really did well considering the lack of sleep. The first night she was up and down until 2am but then slept well from 2-7am! After a busy day of playing and swimming she slept 7:30pm-7:30am!
We love camping!

Alexis "birthday"
Ok so I have to tell the story of Alexis' "BIRTHday." I was scheduled to be at the hospital at midnight on the 18th and if you know me my plan was to be there at 11:30pm to make sure I was not late but Eddie had heard if you show up after midnight you would not be charged for the previous day which would have only been 30 minutes but you would still be charged for an entire day...so I agreed. We were in the parking lot waiting for midnight.
Anyway the that day I met my mom and my grandmother for lunch at one of my favorite places Puffy Muffin yummy! Then we went to Target for a little shopping. I think I couldnt eat after 4pm so I was sure to snack up until 3:59pm. That afternoon waiting for midnight I tried to sleep but was too excited. Not sure how many times I played solitare on the computer to pass the time then around 10pm for some reason the kitchen floor had to be clean for when we arrived home with our sweet baby girl! So here I am on my hands and knees cleaning the floor with my baby belly almost touching the floor.
Before we packed we made a short video message to our sweet Lexi. Then we were on our way.
Now I will share with you a timeline Aunt Melissa made for me of the time at the hospital -she was so sweet to do this for me I love it.

Midnight – Megan and Eddie arrive to Baptist Hospital. On their way there, they took pictures to document their trip to the hospital they were schedule to arrive for the induction
1:00am – Megan and Eddie checked into their labor and delivery room. An IV with fluids was administered for Megan. She hadn’t eaten since 4pm on 9/18/06. Megan was already having random contractions on her own at this time. The doctors also softened her cervix.
4:30am – The Epidural was put in place and Megan was given a test dose to see how she would react to the medicine.
5:00am – The patossin drip was given to Megan to start the induction. Her contractions were consistent once the patossin drip was given.
7:00am- Dr. R came in to check on Megan’s progress. She was at 1cm. Nana, Aunt Melissa and Grandpa Chuck arrived at the hospital to see Megan and Eddie before the mornings events!
9:00am – Nurses were coming in and out to check her progress and Alexis’ progress. She was examined and at 3cm now!!
10am – She is now at 6cm! In between this time Grandpa, Nana, Aunt Melissa and Eddie went down to eat breakfast! And Great Grandma and Matt were called and told to come to the hospital
11am – Megan Is now at 9cm! Luckily Alexis waited on Grandma Shelia and Aunt Erika to arrive. They were able to spend 10-15 minutes with Megan and Eddie before the nursing and doctor came in to prepare for the arrival! 11:02 Grandpa Chuck got a test message that Megan was at 9cm to come stand outside the room. So Grandpa, Nana, Grandma Shelia, Aunt Erika, Aunt Melissa, Matt and Great Grandma McIntosh are all standing outside the door waiting for Alexis to arrive! We all prayed to keep them safe and healthy! While standing outside the door we could hear everyone counting to 10 while Megan pushed.
11:22 – We heard Alexis Lee Gonzalez cry for the first time! And of course we all cried tears of joy! Mom, Baby and Dad were all doing well and had smiles and tears of joy!
